Night three - final night.

Its 4 friggin 20 and I am still awake!!!!! My legs thawing from the biting cold rainy wind. But it was exhilarating. My maiden bike experience!!!! Haha and it rained. I didn't really scream alot la. After awhile I got used to it and it was so cold. But still shiok!!! I am so tempted to go get a bike licencse(shit how the hell do u spell that) now!!! And I forgot to close the windows at home but thank god nothing flooded. Yay!

Other than that exciting part, the rest of the day was a bore. Spent an unproductive day at school doing project work and didn't quite generate alot of useful ideas. Guess I gotta make up for that later today then!!!

They're all coming back tmr!!!!! I guess 4 days have really passed by rather quickly. and I've enjoyed myself!!! But still missing the family warmth. Welcome back my family!!! : ) : ) : )

Night Two.

I'm sitting here laughing like a silly dork due to the web-cam-ing.

Anyway, I watched about 8 episodes worth of Canto cum Korean serial today. Haha and I got tired in between so I went to take a 2 hour nap! And I woke up at 11 this morning!

Other than that, hmm I went to Jurong Point for a brief moment to collect my pair of heels. And walking there and back alone is no funny issue. On sunday the place is swarmped with ah-nehs. I look into bossini and fwaahh they're rummaging through the discount rack. Then along the mrt station they're EVERYWHERE. Sigh.

I'm sleepy. Night!

Night one.

I'm currently sitting in my dad's room with his a/c on and I shifted all my bed time essentials over. With the lappie on my lap and class 95 playing on his hi-fi system. Ahhhhh life is rather good.

I love class 95 alot. Tonight they have decided to play all my favourite sappy love songs that make me feel melancholic and crooni-fied. : ) : ) Current song: Have I told you lately. There's a love that's divine... and its yours and its mine.. and at the end of the day.... have i told u lately that i loveeee you.. have i told u.. there's no one else above u..

Hahaha the day went pretty well. Said goodbye to my family when I alighted at Clementi and teared a bit. : ( I am such a crybaby!!!!!!

Then I chilled out at NUS with cher and yansy and together we watched this french film called Amelia that was both hilarious and pleasantly fuzzzy. After that I headed to city hall (again) with cher and we had soup spoon for dinner. Went to buy yansy's present, had a smoothie and cake at pacific coffee then headed home. : ) : )

Shopping damage has been MASSIVE. I can prolly write my own shopaholic series. Argghh I feel quite guilty. I bought 3 pairs of shoes in 2 days!!!!

- Charles and Keith black flats with sequins in the classic slipper style. (I reallllllyyyy needed basic black flats for casual wear)
- White Butterfly heels from Charles and Keith (it was a real steal!!! 17.90!!)
- Brown heels from Pedal Works. ( such a beauty I couldn't resist at all)

On top of that I got myself the long desired jacket from topshop. But I feel super happy la. does that redeem my madness shopping?? Well now there's only one more thing left on my wishlist. But I've gotta wait for mum to get back first.

I'm gonna live on bread. Because the lazy me will not go out and buy food unless I'm already out or have something to do.

After 2 consecutive nights of sleeping for about 3-4 hours, I was ready to drop dead and die yesterday when project discussion ended.

But I'm fully recharged and ready to go to chinatown with mel later!!!! Haha the wonders of sleep. I came home and had a three hour nap and all was fine thereafter. Last essay down. But one more reflection (I totally forgot about it till this morning), one report and presentation to go. Revision doesn't even quite lurk in my mind yet. hurhur sucks man I wanna start my study break now!

The weekend has arrived. This weekend is gonna be a long and slooowww one though, cos it's been all rainy and stormy and I'm gonna be home alone. One usually appreciates looking at a storm whilst safe at home with her family, but when one is alone, SHE FREAKS OUT. oh well its not exactly all that bad, but if there's a blackout that's it man. I'll run round the house and scream and pull my hair and hide in one corner to sob.

Ok I'm exaggerating. I'll be fine on my own la.

Moreover I actually do have work to do so.. being alone might actually help motivate myself to do the work.

Well the past few days have been tough on her, and I hope things pick up rather soon. Just as you smile so nicely in pictures try to do the same in real life. Not that I minimise your problems to the point where they should not even matter, but what i'm saying is everyone has problems too, but they handle it well and so should you. : )

FIGHTING SPIRIT!

Talking about that, I need some to battle my last essay now.

I had alot to blog about, but right now I can't concentrate.

I hate to plan things or overhear plans being made with my father. He is so dictator like and I hate it. And he always has himself above all else. And he gets so impatient once you don't quite understand him entirely. Ask one more time and you get the same old loud heave followed by a highly irritated answer.

Janice is sending epi one of a show via msn. Yay that should save my sanity. But the transfer rate is like... 2KB per sec and there is still 326,836KB to go.

The past week has been alright. Handed in two assignments and watched 2 movies.

One more essay, one more report and one more presentation.

I WANT IT ALL OVER NOW!

Quidam was surprisingly very hilarious! Really enjoyed watching the show, aside from the brief encounter with some weirdo guy.

The weekend was gone in a flash. It started with mcdees breakfast on saturday morning, then we headed to KL to see granny. Arrived there in the afternoon after stopping by someplace to fix a punctured tyre. People were horning us and pointing to the tyre whilst we were happily chatting in the car! Oh wells, anyway we saw granny, and then went to Kel's house to stay for the night. The supper was MASSIVE. haha more like the Roti Tissue totally blew me away!!

I SWEAR ITS ABOUT ONE METRE LONG NO KIDDING.

The guy had to lay out 3 plates before the roti tissue could be put on the table! And it tasted heavenly (if we do not take calories into consideration), and the tandoori was heavenly, and so was the mee goreng. All that for supper only. Was so full after that we played cards till 4 in the morning. : ) Then we awoke for breakfast which was yet another MASSIVE meal.

So it was a real pigging out weekend man! But I enjoyed myself very much, thanks to KELLIE WELLIE! I like this cousin of mine very much cos she's always so entertaining and sweet at the same time albeit being termed as "sup sup har". But she's hilarious and fantastic to be with. : )

Am glad Granny is recovering well too. : ) : )

Another piece of goood news, it's finally good riddance to history. *throws confetti*

1) I like to sleep on my tummy with my face propped weirdly to the side
2) I think having mcdees breakfast on a sunday morning is like the best thing that can happen in a week

5) My left boob itches when I take alchohol

Collage disease strikes.

Anyway our very yummylicious claypot chicken rice!!! And the absolutely tired faces of chinatown-ers.

My trip to the dentist today was no short of being expectedly traumatising. When I was waiting for my turn I was observing the legs of the one before me and he was really calm. I think the one observing my legs would have gotten a bit freaked. My legs jerked periodically due to the sharp pain of the plague remover grinding into my poor swelled gums. Thank God I didn't have any cavities or decay cos I think I would have bawled there.

I've always hated visiting the dentist anyway. It has a bad smell to it to begin with. And the plague remover thing is so freaking painful. Grind grind poke poke suck suck. I was alternating between gargling a substantial amount of I-do-not-know-what and having a super dry mouth. Then came the cement like polishing. My mouth still feels sandy man dammit. And my gums bled quite a bit. : ( The next visit is in 6 months time. For my courage to visit the dentist I rewarded myself with a sweet the minute I stepped out of the clinic.

Haha ok la don't get scared by my horrifying account. My threshold for pain is like ermm that of a 4 year old or something. School injections always make me shudder and want to quit school cos i have to take a frigging injection.

But for now I have clean clean teeth!! *grins widely* I'm plague free!! Yay. : ) : )

I got a surprise from mum today. She bought tickets to go watch Quidam!!!!!! I am so excited about it. Initially we decided not to go cos it was too expensive. Then now that there's a discount we are going!

The "official" trip to Chinatown turned out to be rather fun and satisfying!!! haha I lovvee Chinatown and all it has to offer!

We're doing an essay on it so therefore we went to take some pictures to be added into the essay. So since we were there.. I decided to introduce Miss Sim to the wonderful claypot chicken rice! Well we waited like half an hour for it in the sweltering heat (even my tummy area sweated how gross is that) but the wait was damn worth it. : ) The rice was heavenly. Always just the right taste man. It's super yummylicious!

Well anyway also since we were there.. might as well do some shopping right? haha DO YOU KNOW? Chinatown is no longer super aunty-fied ok.. I found their clothes rather nice!! And according to this Uncle he says that the clothes he brings in are the same as those in Iora or Sense. Just that here the rental is much much cheaper so therefore the clothes are cheaper! Not exactly very cheap but ok la the design was nice. We both bought the same skirt in different colour and Miss Sim bought an off shoulder top as well as her giordano berms too. : )

Therefore in conclusion, it was a satisfying (both in retail and eating needs) day for the both of us! Plus we got our pictures taken so the day was well spent. Chinatown really has a different perspective from what it used to be a mere 5 years back. Woot.

So I blog about Chinatown to help spread its good and cheap and interesting gallivants that you can have there. Heehee it shall be my new exploration place for super yummy food!

I am feeling rather stressed. : ( All of a sudden all the work crashes in and I have to be away for the weekend. ARghh what perfect timing. Nah blame it on my procrastination. Period.

BUT NO I WILL NOT BE BROUGHT DOWN BY STRESS!!

Sorry that was a moment of self motivation. shit I blabber alot at 1am.

I am so afraid to be judged yet I so readily judge other people.

Well that's something to work towards a change of attitude perhaps.

The weekend was well spent aside from the dread of monday which has already arrived since 15 mins ago at the strike of 12 which means,

Well that's something happy for a monday I guess. Long day at uni AGAIN. *monday blues*

So how did I spend my weekend? hmm saturday i went for tuition and got tuition money (YAY!). It was long due anyway. Then I met cher for some shopping before meeting sis and bf for some fondue and drinks. Refer to her blog for the damn hilarious pictures. We were guffawing in Hagen Daz man, to everyone's attention but it was uncontrollable. I know how My teeth will look like if I live to 90 years old.

Then on Sunday I went to church after a long time of absence and it felt superb. One of the hymns was "To God Be the Glory!" One of my favs since STC times. Well it was a good reflecting session and after service I had lunch with mel before heading over to her grandparent's place. They were so so so nice. Shared their japanese war experiences with me! Albeit being a tad repititive and all, I was so glad they were open about it. Some parts were funny too. Ok la I'm easily amused but yeah now time for the hair ripping transcript. Then finally major japanese buffet at Fairway country club. I've been quite into eating jap food recently but this buffet wasn't quite satisfying.

I am so hard to please. : (

Shopping damage for this weekend: Only ONE off shoulder top from mng! Which I thought was rather expensive but the material is damn nice so ok la.

Upon reviewing my deadlines coming up I realised I'm actually in rather deep shit.

But then as I promised myself a stress free semester, I shall go sleep now and leave the shit to tmr. (my forte if u didn't already know)

Because I tend to want to ignore my assignments I often whip out the camera phone and start snapping.

Because its 230am and my brains have gone fried trying to finish up the essay, I decided to do yet another collage! Haha since Miss sim said collages are pretty, I did one for her!

Well she deserves it anyway. for being my all time buddyyy in uni and I'm so thankful there's someone like her to keep uni days refreshing and not such a bore! Plus she's always looking out for me and reminding me on all the important stuff.

I'm beginning to get overly dependent on her. whaha. We've had many whacky enjoyable times la I should say. : ) more to come!

However she has ditched me on this stormy night to go sleep whilst I slog on OUR essay.


On another note, I'm glad Jan has arrived safe and sound.

I went to IMM for dinner just now full of excitement and aunty-ness for I went there to sponge on the secret recipe promotion. Buy one slice get one free!!! Si-beh worth it la! So I had my fav bibimbap and trooped down to secret recipe only to realise the big SOLD OUT pasted on the board.

In the words of I-forgot-who, SHITEE MAMA!

Sigh. Maybe one fine October day I will go at 11am and make sure I get an entire cake just to satisfy my current I-WANT-BANANA-CHOC-CAKE desire.
